Each team captain sets practice times for the team. But generally, practices are in the afternoon after most classes are finished and before evening study time that is required for most cadets. Most team captains schedule practice to fit their players' class and ROTC schedule to increase availability.

As for games, they are also usually scheduled by team captains unless it is a conference or division game. In that case, the league that the team plays in will schedule those game.
